We’re in the dead of winter and what are gardeners doing? Making plans for this year’s garden of course! Gardening involves a lot of planning, but it’s an exciting kind of planning; just think of all those lovely flowers, fruits, and veggies you’re going to enjoy this summer! 😉
Sometimes it’s really helpful to make reference charts for yourself during the planning season; that way when the actual planting, nourishing, and harvesting times come, and you have a question, it’ll be a piece of cake to just take a peek at your charts quick.
This week, I have been putting together a reference chart to help us keep track of the many different plants we’re planning to grow this year, and I thought it might be useful to you all as well! 🙂 The chart includes planting times, sunlight requirements, and maturity dates. Now I will note, much of the information in the chart is approximate. Specifics can vary variety to variety of plant, but generally, they’re pretty close. 😉 Also, forgive me for the missing maturity dates on some of the herbs. I was unable to find specific dates for those ones since herbs tend to work a little differently than fruits or vegetables when it comes to telling if they’re ready to harvest.
Hope this is helpful to you all! Happy garden planning! ❤
